Privacy policy

Amphibious Marine Inc. ("we", "us") operates this online store (hovercraft-kits.com, multiwingfanrepair.com and our Shopify checkout). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the store or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Order information. When you place an order or request a quote, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and the details of what you ordered. Payment is handled by Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay; we never see or store your full card number.

Fan identification information. If you send us photos, measurements, part numbers or drawings so we can identify or match a fan, blade or hub, we keep them with your order or quote so we can help you with future orders.

Device information. When you visit the store, we automatically receive your IP address, browser type, time zone, the pages and products you view, the site or search terms that referred you, and how you interact with the pages. This comes from cookies, server logs and web analytics tags.

How we use it

- To fill your order: process payment, prepare and ship your parts, and send order confirmations, shipping notices and tracking numbers.
- To help you: answer questions, match parts to your fan, and keep a record of what you ordered so replacements and reorders are easy.
- To protect the store: screen orders for fraud and keep the site working.
- To improve the store: understand which pages and products visitors use, where they run into trouble, and whether our advertising works.
- To contact you about our products only when you have agreed to receive marketing email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with services that help us run the store:

- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments. Shopify's privacy policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
- Shipping carriers (UPS, USPS and FedEx) receive your name, address and phone number so they can deliver your order.

- Our accounting software, which keeps a record of the sale.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law, a subpoena or a lawful request, or to protect our rights.

Cookies and tracking

The store uses cookies for the shopping cart, checkout, fraud screening and the analytics services above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the cart and checkout need them to work. We do not change our data practices in response to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Your choices and rights

- If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law (such as California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut or Utah), you may also use the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link in the footer of this store to opt out of targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
- If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information to fulfil our contract with you (your order) and for our legitimate interest in running and improving the store. Your information is transferred to and stored in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and tax purposes, usually seven years. Website analytics data is kept by the analytics providers according to their retention settings.

Children

This store is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
